Beginning his career as a mechanic for offshore pipelay company, Offshore Pipeline Inc. (later sold to J. Ray McDermott), Larry maintained and repaired equipment on pipelay vessels, dredges and derrick barges. Later in his career, he became the Chief Mechanic for Horizon Offshore, primarily overseeing land-based work including facility and vessel equipment management and repair. He held that position through the Horizon Offshore buyout by Cal Dive International and until Cal Dive went out of business in 2015.
Larry’s industry knowledge and skillset are an asset to the CSR team. In his current role for CSR, Larry supervises the day-to-day operations, handling the facility maintenance, running the crane and managing vessel loadouts.
